Ruth is VERY active in Youth Sports. She has coached volleyball, and softball and assisted with basketball at multiple age levels. Both for groups such as Shasta Magic and also for local school programs. Ruth is on a first name basic with just about everyone. That means everyone, from the local school principals to the maintenance folks that have the keys to the practice gyms, and to all the parents and their children that participate in sports. She almost certainly knows every coach, referee, and sports camp director throughout Shasta County and beyond.
Ruth and her husband Don have three athletes of their own that participate in most every sport. In addition to working as a Respiratory Practioner at Mercy Medical, the Wolfes’ have two local businesses.
Ruth has volunteered her time with Shasta Magic for many years from an active parent to the President of the Board. She is equally at home chairing a board meeting or keeping the score book at todays game. In her free time Ruth plays on both softball and volleyball teams in local city leagues.
Ruth was going to write this herself but she’s on the phone right now.............and has two calls holding.
